My name is Renata. Despite my economic education, my calling has always been to help others. As a teenager and student, I willingly took care of children, both those from the neighborhood and as a teacher at summer camps. Later, I became a volunteer at a hospice, where I took care of patients in the terminal phase of cancer. There I also took training in: - medical care for the sick, - ability to conduct difficult conversations about health and death with patients and their families, -psychological support for the patient and their relatives. I have references. I also took care of my father who died of cancer. I also took care of elderly persons, I lived with them, ran the house, went to doctors, helped with everyday routine. After these experiences, I decided to gain more skills in caring for the sick and (having already obtained a master's degree and an additional faculty at postgraduate studies) I decided to finish a post-secondary school for medical caregivers, ending with a state exam. In addition to my experience, I also have a diploma as a medical caregiver. Hi my name is Claire, I have distinctions in health care, palliative care and special needs. I have had personal experience looking after an elderly family member with Alzheimer's. I also have experience caring for the elderly outside of the family unit for more than 10 years. I find looking after the elderly very rewarding. I have elderly grand parents both in their 90s and love spending time with them and helping to increase their quality of life.
