Hallo, my name is Birthe but everybody calls me Bee which i do prefer. I am originally from Hamburg in Germany and moved to Dublin in March 2000. The plan was to stay for 6 months to give some training for new employees in the financial sector I was working in at that time but here we go...25 years later and I am still here...best decision of my life. I love Ireland and the irish people. To cut a long story short I became a Carer in 2013 as I wanted to stay out in the beautiful countryside of Ireland and decided to make a career change to become a Carer...second best decision I made in my life!!!! I absolutely love my job caring for the elderly and adults in need . I find it very rewarding and no day is like the other. I was working for the HSE for 10 years and for agencies but decided to run my own private business as a Carer now . I made this decision because I do want to provide an absolute tailored Care as each individual is different and I want to ensure that both client and family are getting exactly the care that is needed. I usually meet up for an introduction meeting with the family ( client involved or not, its up to you) to discuss details. There is no limit of the time of the meeting or how many times we have.....
