I am a qualified and experienced Healthcare Assistant with a QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification and many years of experience caring for older people in Ireland. I am a kind, patient, reliable and respectful person, and I genuinely enjoy supporting elderly people to remain comfortable, independent and connected to their community. I believe good care is not only about practical help, but also about companionship, dignity, trust and making someone feel safe and valued. I can assist with personal care, showering and dressing, medication reminders, light meal preparation, light household tasks, shopping and everyday errands. I am also happy to provide companionship, go for walks or coffee, and accompany clients to medical appointments, the bank, post office, hairdresser, church, cemetery or other outings. I am an Irish citizen, have lived in Ireland for around 20 years, hold a full Irish driving licence and have my own car. I am flexible and can also consider evening, overnight or live-in care arrangements when suitable.
