Suncroft Lodge Nursing Home In caring for the residents there were a number of routines I carried out daily for them. When I started my shift I took part in a handover from the staff who were finishing their shift . During meal time and tea time I handed out meals and assisted the residents if and when needed with feeding. I assisted the residents if and when needed with toileting. This sometimes involved a full hoist or a standing hoist. I have been trained for changing catheter bags for residents. I often escorted residents from the nursing home to hospital appointments.
